Todo comenzó a finales del 1997. SACRAMENTO BAND fue creada por los hermanos GELOS Y MANIZ y es una de las bandas pioneras del Rock en Español en Dallas, TX con un poco mas de 9
años de vida como banda son unas de las pocas bandas que tocan ritmos caribeños y con un estilo único rock pop fuzzión con
estilos como salsa, merengue, ska, reggae, wapango, bolero afrocubano sacramento band se caracteriza por sus grandes logros
en la escena local
SACRAMENTO BAND es la primer banda de rock en español en entrar a el prestigiado
club (TREES) en el cinco de mayo del 04' donde ahora son conocidos como la mejor banda de rock en español a nivel local otros
logros fue de que la desaparecida (97.1 THE EAGLE) siendo una estación de radio 100% rock anglo concedió una entrevista a
sacramento y pusieron al aire una de sus canciones (GUAJIRA) del mas reciente material de SACRAMENTO BAND titulado 76' en
honor a Junior Martínez (ex bajista) quien perdió la vida.
Otros logros de SACRAMENTO BAND son que han sido invitados por el corredor de autos ADRIAN
FERNANDEZ de la indy car para que tocaran en la firma de autógrafos en el TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY, han abierto un concierto
a JAGUARES aunque no en el mismo escenario la experiencia fue máxima, abrieron el concierto de
el grupo de rock urbano LIRA N' ROLL llevándose una gran experiencia y una entrega de el publico
al maximo,han tocado con la banda PLASTILINA MOSH y en el prestigioso TEXAS MUSIC FESTIVAL que
se celebra cada año sacramento fue invitado el año 2005 para tocar en uno de los 10 stage´s con las 200 bandas que participaran
la mayoría bandas 100% anglo´s y recientemente estarán tocando con Alejandro Marcovich el gran
guitarrista de la legendaria banda caifanes en Dallas, TX.
SACRAMENTOBAND tuvo una portada con la revista Xpressión magazine, así soy magazine
y tuvieron muy buenos comentarios de la banda en un reportaje llamado “Rock sin Fronteras”. El Sol de Texas ofreció
una entrevista a sacramento como una de las bandas mas conocidas y apoyadas en el ámbito musical del rock local. Marinet hdz,
de la sección de espectáculos de UNIVISION 23, realizó una entrevista a SACRAMENTOBAND que
fue televisada en mayo del 2005, y así conviertiéndo a SACRAMENTO BAND en la primer banda que Univisión entrevista localmente.

SACRAMENTO es la banda local en Español que ha podido filtrarse hasta lo mejor de este movimiento americano
con el apoyo de la gente que los sigue. SACRAMENTO ha tocado en los mejores clubs de deep ellum en donde hasta los grupos
anglo's han batallado para entrar en ese movimiento tales son los club's como CLEARVIEW, INDIGO, TREES, LIQUID LOUNGUE, y
THE COURTAIN CLUB lugares en donde es raro mirar bandas de rock latino SACRAMENTO ha abierto este espacio a las bandas nuevas
de la escena local. sacramento es una de las bandas favoritas de deep ellum y el apoyo de la gente anglo es aun mas grande
que el de la pequeña escena local en español que se esta formando en Dallas.
BANDAS UNIDAS
Bandas Unidas es un proyecto creado hace 5 años
por SACRAMENTO y la desaparecida banda SILVER PILL para ayudar a bandas nuevas echarles la mano y hacer tocadas sin fines
de lucro para levantar el movimiento local.
SACRAMENTO fue la banda que ayudo a la escena local de dejar las tocadas de garaje a club's con mas calidad
y así creció este movimiento de rock local gracias a bandas unidas.
Se planifica que el proyecto BANDAS UNIDAS se expanda fuera del metroplex y hay planes de llevar este gran
proyecto a Houston, Austin y posiblemente Los Angeles. Así es que cuando escuches BANDAS UNIDAS ya sabes quien lo creo...

The Beginning of 1997
Everything began at the end
of the year 1997. Sacramento Band was created by brothers Gelos and Maniz and
is one of the pioneering bands of the Rock in Spanish in Dallas Texas. With
9 years of life, the band is one of the few bands that touch the Caribbean style with rates of pop
rock, fuzzion, salsa, meringue, ska, reggae, wapango, bolero and afro Cuban rithyms.
Sacramento band is characterized by their great profits in the local scene
and is the only Latin band in entering the sanctioned club Trees, located in Deep Ellum, to celebrate the Cinco de Mayo festivities. Now, the band where known as the best band of Rock en Espanol in the local level. The disappear local station 97.1 The Eagle which is 100% anglo rock granted an interview
to Sacramento and played one of its songs, Guajira from their recent material title 76’ in honor of Junior Martinez, ex-bass player, who was killed.
Sacramento
band has been invited by the Texas Motor Speedway to perform while the runner Adrian Fernandez sings autographs. The band has also opened concerts to legendary bands like Jaguares, Lira n’ roll and Plastilina Mosh
were they have experience the energy of the people. Sacramento
was invited to play in the Texas Musical Festival in the year of 2005 but for personal reasons didn’t play. Recently they have opened a concert to the greatest guitarist from the disappear band Caifanes, Alejandro
Marcovich on March from 2006.
Sacramento Band
had a cover with the Xpression magazine were they had very good commentaries of the band from the article “Rock without
Borders” and even El Sol de Texas made an article to the band known like the well-known and supported bands on the musical
local rock. Marine Hernandez, of the spectacles from Univision 23, made an interview to Sacramento
that was televised in May of the 2005 making them the very first local band to be on Univision 23 local news.
Sacramento
has played on the best clubs like Clearview, Indigo, Trees, Liquid Lounge, Curtain club and Galaxy club from Deep Ellum were
they have been the only Latin band to play in Spanish music and were they have been supported by the local people who follow
them. Sacramento is one of the favorite
bands of Deep Ellum with the support of the Anglo people.
Bandas
Unidas or United Bands have been a project created by the band for 5 years now. Sacramento
has help the new bands who use to played on garage to clubs with quality and raise the local movement. Bandas Unidas is planned to expand these project outside the Dallas area, places like
Houston, Austin, New Jersey and possibly Los
Angeles. So every time you hear about Sacramento Band or Bandas Unidas, don’t miss the chance
